If you have concerns about family treasures under your care, come to our program on November 19th, and learn about simple measures you can take to increase their longevity. Excessive moisture, pests, light, and disassociation are a few of the ten agents of deterioration we will discuss during our fall program.
Laura and Sharon, Hagley’s conservation specialists in photographs, books, and paper, will give an illustrated talk, followed by a Q&A period, when we can provide more specific preservation advice. Do you have concerns about how to repair, store, or display something that is near and dear? Does it look like it could benefit from some TLC? We can provide guidance for those treasured works of art on paper, ephemera, photographs, or books that you intend to keep for future generations.
