Join us for the opening talk on the history and curation of Hagley's newest exhibition, Innovation In Miniature. For the first time in decades, the William Pahlmann and Eugene Kupjack miniature models will be on view. These models will be surrounded by materials on the history of 20th-century interior design in the United States and the fascinating legacy of miniatures. Hagley Library Coordinator Hannah Spring Pfeifer will sit down with Library Conservator and exhibition curator Laura Wahl for a public Q&A about the inspiration for Innovation in Miniature as well as the behind-the-scenes preservation work that made the display of the Pahlmann-Kupjack models possible.

This event will take place in the Hagley Library Copeland Room from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 3. The Opening Talk will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Advanced registration is recommended. Tickets will also be available at the door. $10 for Members and $20 for Non-Members. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided, with beer and wine available for purchase (must be 21+).
